Tangolera was born from the passion of Pasquale Girardi, a dancer and master of Argentine Tango, and is a footwear company that combines dance floor experience with innovation and creativity.

In 2004, Pasquale, founder and organizer of the International Tango Fusion Rimini Festival, decided to create his own tango shoes after not having its needs met by the existing market. Thus, Pasquale Girardi’s first collection of tango shoes was born: Bandolera Shoes

In 2007, during the festival’s first event in 2007, the collection was introduced to the public and achieved great success.

Over the years, Pasquale had been supported by Fabiana Montesi, his life partner and a fashion production manager for huge brands. Together, they decided to pursue the Tangolera Shoes Company with passion and dedication.

Nel 2016 Pasquale had decided to leave the management of the company to Fabiana and Gabriella Battista, who is also a tango dancer, with experience in management of admin optimization, accounting and finance. Since 2003, Gabriella has also worked in employee management and training, for several companies in Italy.

Oggi, Tangolera Shoes is an all-female company founded on friendship, respect and desire for growth, whilst pursuing its mission: to create innovative, high-performance and high quality tango shoes
